On Thursday 4 October the Smart Mobility Embassy took part in the Innovation Expo 2018 (IE2018) on the RDM Campus, Rotterdam. IE2018’s ambition was to continue innovations, realise breakthroughs and contribute to social challenges we face in our country and worldwide.
The RDM Submarine Wharf was transformed into one large Living Lab. With Dutch solutions for the major social needs of circular economy, energy, water, mobility, health, food and the necessary key technologies.
The SME presented itself with a touch table. The touch table includes a description of all test facilities and a number of smart mobility best practices in the Netherlands. Visitors could also experience smart mobility solutions throught the VR glasses from VR Owl. CapGemini installed two VR machines in the stand, with an application that makes it possible to organize interactive workshops that connects people from a distance.
Organizations from, amongst others, Italy, Australia and France showed interest in the SME for the organization of Smart Mobility Missions to the Netherlands.
