MobilitymoveZ.NL, Urban Mobility Testing Area. This is the name of the testing and development environment for innovations around smart mobility, as presented at the end of March 2017. The large-scale implementation of new mobility concepts first requires small-scale testing in day-to-day traffic.
The objective of MobilitymoveZ.NL is to offer a springboard to wider implementation and the roll-out of mobility concepts that have proved to be successful. The testing environment for MobilitymoveZ.NL comprises a route of controlled, manageable public national, provincial and local roads from Helmond via Eindhoven to Tilburg; this route will be expanded in the future. National and international parties can use this to develop and test new technology and services around Smart Mobility and innovative mobility services in practical traffic situations. This would include ITS companies, Smart Mobility service providers, telecom companies, the automotive industry, lease companies and insurers.
MobilitymoveZ.NL enables the actual deployment of a successfully tested mobility concept or new service within SmartwayZ.NL. This innovative mobility programme is used by governmentals, market parties and knowledge institutes operating in partnership to enhance the accessibility and economy in the south of the country, and indeed, the rest of the Netherlands and Europe.

Om nieuwe mobiliteitsconcepten op grote schaal te kunnen implementeren is het essentieel om ze eerst kleinschalig te beproeven in het dagelijkse verkeer. Het doel van MobilitymoveZ.NL is het bieden van een springplank naar bredere implementatie en uitrol van succesvol gebleken mobiliteitsconcepten. De testomgeving voor MobilitymoveZ.NL bestaat uit een traject van gecontroleerde, beheersbare openbare rijks-, provinciale en lokale wegen van Helmond via Eindhoven tot Tilburg en dit traject wordt in de toekomst uitgebreid. Hier kunnen (inter)nationale partijen nieuwe technieken en diensten op het gebied van Smart Mobility en innovatieve mobiliteitsdiensten te kunnen ontwikkelen en testen in praktijk verkeerssituaties. Denk hierbij aan ITS-bedrijven, Smart Mobility dienstverleners, telecombedrijven, automotive partijen, leasemaatschappijen, verzekeraars en anderen.
Dankzij testen in MobilitymoveZ.NL is het mogelijk om een succesvol getest mobiliteitsconcept of nieuwe dienst daadwerkelijk toe te passen binnen het programma SmartwayZ.NL, het innovatieve mobiliteitsprogramma waarin overheden, marktpartijen en kennisinstellingen samen werken om de bereikbaarheid en economie in Zuid-Nederland te verbeteren. Maar ook in de rest van Nederland en Europa.
